Zion is Mount Zion ( see 2 Kings 19:31 , Psalm 48:2 , Ps 48:11 , Psalm 74:2, Psalm 78:68 , Isaiah 4:5 , Isaiah 10:12, Isaiah 18:7 Obad 1:17 , Hebrew 12:22 ) ;  it is the mountains of Zion (see Ps 133:3) ; it is the mountain of the Lord of hosts (see Isaiah 2:3, Micah 4:2 , Zech 8:3) ; it is the mountain of the house (see Jer 26:18, Micah 3:12) ; it is God’s Holy Mountain ( see Joel 2:1 , Joel 3:17, Zech 8:3 ); it is the holy hill of Zion (see Psalm 2: 6) ; it is the height of Zion ( see Jer 31:12 ) ;  it is the castle of Zion (see I Chronicles 11:5) ; it is the stronghold of Zion ( see 2 Sa 5 :7 );  it is the stronghold of the daughter of Zion (see Micah 4:8);  and it is the tower of the flock (see Micah 4:8) .

Zion is the children of Zion (see Ps 149:2) ;   it is the daughter of Zion (see Lam 2:1, Lam 2:4 , Lam 2:6, Zep 3:14 , Zech 9:9 ) ;  it is the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion ( see Lam 2:4 ) ;  it is the virgin daughter of Zion (see Lam 2:13) ;  it is the daughters of Judah (see Ps 48:11) ;  it is Israel (see Psalm 149:2, Zep 3:14) ; it is the children of Israel ( see Joel 3:16) ;  it is God’s people (see Is 51:16, Joel 3:16) ;  it is the tribe of Judah (see Psalm 78:68) ; it is Judah ( see Jer 14 :19 , Lam 5:11 ) ; it is the rod of God’s inheritance , which God hast redeemed (see Psalm 74:2);  and it is God’s congregation, which God has purchased of old (see Psalm 74:2) .

Zion is the city of David (see 2 Sa 5 :7, 1 Kings 8 :1 , I Chronicles 11: 5, 2 Chron 5 :2) ;  it is the city of the great King (see Psalm 48:2) ;  it is the city of our solemnities (see Isaiah 33:20);  it is the Holy city (see Isaiah 52: 1 , Is 64 :10) ;  it is the city of the Lord , the Holy One Of Israel (see Is 60:14) ;  it is the city of the living God (see Hebrew 12:22) ;  it is Jerusalem ( see Psalm 51:18 , Psalm 76:2 , Ps 102:21, Psalm 128:5 , Psalm 135 :21 , Psalm 147:12 , Isaiah 2:3 , Isaiah 10:12, Isaiah 30:19 , Isaiah 31:9, Isaiah 33:20 , Isaiah 52: 1 , Is 52:2, Jer 26:18, Joel 2:32 , Joel 3:16 , Joel 3:17, Amos 1:2 , Micah 3:10, Micah 3:12, Micah 4:2, Zep 3:16, Zech 1:14 , Zech 1:17 , Zech 8:3 , Zech 9:9 ) ;  it is the daughter of Jerusalem (see Lam 2:13, Zep 3:14, Zech 9:9 ) ;  and it is the heavenly Jerusalem ( see Hebrew 12:22 ) .

Zion is the dwelling place of the Lord God (see Psalm 9:11, Psalm 74:2 , Psalm 76:2, Isaiah 8:18, Joel 3:17) ;  it is His habitation (see Ps 132:13) ;  it is a quiet habitation (see Isaiah 33:20) ;  it is the house of the God of Jacob (see Isaiah 2:3, Micah 4:2 ) ;  it is the house of Jacob (see Obad 1:17) ;  it is the sanctuary (see Psalm 20:2) ;  it is His tabernacle (see Psalm 76:2, Lam 2:6) ;  it is a tabernacle [that] shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken (see Isaiah 33:20) ;  it is His footstool ( see Lam 2:1) ;  it is forever abiding and immovable. (see Psalm 125:1) ;  it is where the Holy One Of Israel is in the midst thereof (see Isaiah 12:6) ;  it is the place of the name of the Lord of Hosts (see Isaiah 18:7) ;  it is His assembly places ( see Lam 2:6) ;  it is a place where no strangers shall pass through her any more. ( see Joel 3:17 ) ;  it is a place where the uncircumcised and unclean shall no longer come (see Isaiah 52:1) ;   it is where the Lord’s fire and furnace is in (see Is 31:9) ;  and it is within which solemn feasts and Sabbaths occur ( see Lam 2:6 ) .

Zion is beautiful for situation (see Psalm 48:2) ;  it is the beauty of Israel ( see Lam 2.1) ;  it is the joy of the whole earth (see Psalm 48:2) ;  it is where the Lord commanded the blessing of life evermore (see Ps 133:3) ;  it is from which shall go forth an escaping remnant through the zeal of the Lord of hosts (see Isaiah 37:32) ;  and it is that unto which the dominion, the kingdom shall come (see Micah 4:8) .
