The grace of God is God’s favor ( see Est 2:17); it is His blessing ( see Ps 45:2) ; and it is His kindness toward us through Jesus Christ ( see Eph 2:7) .
It is the Lord’s mercy ( see Gen. 19:19) ; and it is mercy from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord ( see 1 Ti 1:2, 2 Ti 1:2 , Tit 1:4 , 2 Jo 1:3 ).
It is peace unto us from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ ( see 1 Co 1 :3; 2 Co 1:2 ; Gal 1:3; Eph 1:2; Phl 1:2; Col 1:2; 1 Th 1:1; 2 Th 1:2 ;1 Ti 1:2 ; 2 Ti 1:2; Tit 1:4; Phm 1:3; 2 Peter 1:2;, 2 Jo 1:3; Rev 1:4 ).
The grace of God is of God ( see 2 Co 9:14; Gal 2:21) ; it is of the Lord ( see 2 Co 12:9); it is of Christ ( see Gal 1:6) ; ; it comes to us from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ ( see Gal 1:3 ; 2 Co 1:2;, Eph 1:2; Phl 1:2;, Col 1:2; 1 Th 1:1; 2 Th 1:2; 1 Ti 1:2; 2 Ti 1:2 ; Tit 1:4; Phm 1:3; 2 Jo 1:3); it comes to us by Jesus Christ ( see John 1:17, 2 Ti 2:1) ); it is of our Lord Jesus Christ ( see Rom. 16 :20,24; 1 Co 16:23; 2 Co 8:9 ;Gal 6:18 ;Rev 22:21; Acts 15:11 ); it is from the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior ( see Tit. 1:4) ; it is from Him which is , and which was, and which is to come ( see Rev 1:4 ) and it comes to us in truth and love ( see 2 Jo 1:3).
The grace of God is given unto us ( see 1 Co 3:10 ; Gal 2:9) ; it is a given glory ( see Pro 4:9) ; it is given to us of God ( see Rom 15:15) ; it is given to us by Jesus Christ ( see 1 Co 1:4 ); it was given to us in Christ Jesus before the world began ( see 2 Ti 1:9 ) ; it is given unto us by the effectual working of His power ( see Eph 3:7) ; it is a free gift by one man, Jesus Christ ( see Rom 5:15 ); it is the gift of righteousness and life by one man, Jesus Christ ( see Rom 5:17 ); and it is given us by our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God our Father ( see 2 Th 2 :16 ).
It is the gospel (see Acts 20:24 ) ; it reigns through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord (see Rom 5:21) ; it is by which Jesus tasted death for every man ( see Heb 2:9 ); and it is that though our Lord Jesus Christ was rich, yet for our sakes he became poor, that through His poverty we might be rich (see 2 Co 8:9 ) .
The grace of God saves us ( see Eph 2:5; 2 Ti 1:9 ); it brings us salvation ( see Tit 2:11) ; is through which we are saved (see Acts 15:11) ; it is of faith (see Rom 4:16) ; it is accessed by faith through our Lord Jesus Christ ( see Rom 5:2 ); and it saves us through a faith that is gifted to us (see Eph 2:8, Acts 18:27 ).
The grace of God is given by the Lord to the humble, not the proud ( see Pro 3:34; Jas 4:6; 1 Peter 5:5) ; it justifies us ( see Tit 3:7); it is to be justified freely through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus ( see Rom 3:24) ; it accords us redemption through his blood ( see Eph 1:7); it is not justified to us by the law ( see Gal 5:4 ) ; it frees us from the dominion of the law and sin ( see Rom 6:14) ; it accords us the forgiveness of our sins (see Eph 1:7 ); it makes us accepted in the beloved ( see Eph 1:6 ) ; it makes us heirs of grace of life ( see 1 Peter 3 :7 ) ; and it makes us heirs according to the hope of eternal life (see Tit 3:7).
It is an election of God accorded to the remnant of Israel ( see Rom 11:5); it calls us with a holy calling ( see 2 Ti 1:9); it is what we are called through and into by God the Father ( see Gal 1:15, 2 Ti 1:9, Gal 1:6) ; it is according to God the Father’s purpose for us, not our own ( see 2 Ti 1:9); it is not according to our works ( see 2 Ti 1:9) ; and it is not obtained by our works ( see Rom 11:6).
The grace of God is the Spirit of grace (see Heb 10:29 ); it is with us ( see Rom 16:20,24 ; 1 Co 16 :23 ) ; it is the love of God with us ( see 2 Co 13:14 ) ; it is with our spirit (see Gal 6:18 , Phm 1:25 ); it is the communion of the Holy Ghost with us ( see 2 Co 13:14 ); it is of the Lord Jesus Christ with us ( see 2 Co 13:14) ; it quickens us together with Christ even though we were dead in our sins ( see Eph 2:5 ) ; it is in our hearts ( see Col 3:16, 2 Co 9:14 ); it provides us a throne where we can come boldly to obtain mercy in our time of need (see Heb 4:16 ); it is a spirit of supplication poured upon the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem by the Lord ( see Zec 12:10 ) ; and it has given us everlasting consolation and good hope ( see 2 Th 3:16 ) .
The grace of God is the Lord’s strength ( see 2 Co 12:9); it is the power of Christ upon us ( see Acts 4:33, 2 Co 12:9) ; it is multiplied unto each of us through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord ( see 2 Pe 1:2) ; it is that with which we labor for God ( see 1 Co 15:10) ; it is whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear ( see Heb 12:28 ) ; it is by which we have our conversation ( i.e. behaviour , manner of living) in the world ( see 2 Co 1:12) ; and it is that we always have the sufficiency in all things to abound to every good work ( see 2 Co 9:8 ).
It is manifold ( see 1 Peter 4:10 ) ; it is given to every one of us according to the measure of the gift of Christ ( see Eph 4:7) ; it gives us differing spiritual gifts according to the proportion of faith given to us ( see Rom 12:6) ; it gives us each spiritual gifts to minister to one another ( see 1 Peter 4:10) ; it is given to us in order to minister to others ( see Eph 3:2,7,8) ; and it makes us stewards of that grace ( see 1 Peter 4:10 ).
The grace of God was enquired and searched diligently into by the prophets ( see 1 Peter 1:10 ); it was prophesied by the prophets ( see 1 Peter 1:10) ; and it is to be brought unto us at the revelation of Jesus Christ ( see 1 Peter 1:13 )
