The elect are the seed of Isaac (see Rom. 9:7) . They are the seed of Jacob ( see Is. 65:9 ) . They are the seed of the blessed of the Lord and their offspring with them ( see Is 65:23 ). They are the children of the promise and not of the flesh (see Rom 9:8 ), and they are the children of the living God ( see Rom 9:26 )  .

The elect are the Lord’s servants ( see Is 65:13, 14  ). They are the Lord’s servant Jacob  ( see Is 45:4 Is 65:9). They are the Lord’s people who have sought Him ( see Is 65:10), and they are his servants who  later became called by another name ( see Is 65:15 ).

The elect are Israel ( see Is. 45:4 ) . They are not those of Israel who sought and followed after righteousness by the works of the law of righteousness (see Romans 9:31,32 ) . They are a remnant of the children of Israel according to the election of grace , not of works ( see Rom 9: 27, 11:5 ,6).  They are those who have obtained the righteousness that Israel was seeking (see Romans 11:5) . They are the Gentiles who have attained to the righteousness which is of faith ( see Rom 9:30) . They are those who have obtained precious faith through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ (see 2 Peter 1:1) ; and they are those whom God justified and glorified ( see Rom 8:30).

The elect are the people of the Lord God (see Is 65:22) . They are the holy and beloved ( see Col 3:12) . They are God’s people who were formerly not his people ( see Rom. 9: 25) ; and they are God’s beloved, who were formerly not his beloved (see Rom 9:25) .

The elect have been purged from their old sins ( see 2 Peter 1:9 ). They are dead and their lives are hidden with Christ in God ( see Col 3:3) . They are risen in Christ ( see Col 3:1) . Their lives are Christ ( see Col 3:4). They are those for whom Christ is all and in all ( see Col 3:11) . They have been begotten again into a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead through the abundant mercy of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ ( see 1 Peter 1:3) . They cannot be separated from the love of Christ through the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord ( see Rom 8 ;35,37, 38, 39).  They are for whom Christ makes intercession at the right hand of God ( see Rom 8:34).

The elect are strangers ( see 1 Peter 1:1). They are neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision or uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free (see Col 3:11) . They have put on the new man , which is renewed in knowledge after the image that created him  ( see Col 3:10) . They have been given all things that pertain unto life and godliness by the divine power of Jesus, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue ( see 2 Peter 1:3 ). They have been given exceeding great and precious promises by the divine power of Jesus our Lord : that by these promises they might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust ( see 2 Peter 1:4).

The elect are the Lord’s chosen ( see Is 65:15) . They are those God foreknew (see Rom 8:29) . They are Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ ( see 1 Pet 1:2) . They are those God predestinated to be conformed to the image of his son ( see Rom 8:29,39).

The elect are those who have been called ( see Rom 8:30, 2 Peter 1:10) . They are those who love God and have been called according to His purpose ( Rom 8:28) .They are those who are called in one body to let the peace of God rule in their hearts ( see Col 3:15) ; and they are called that the purpose of God might stand , not of works, but of him that calleth (see Rom 9:11) .

The elect are the inheritors of the Lord’s mountain from out of Judah. They are Jerusalem ( see Is 65:18,19) ; and they are the people of Jerusalem ( see Is 65:18,19) . They are the brethren ( see 2 Peter 1:10).
