Our calling is of God ( see Rom 11:29 );  it is a heavenly calling ( see Heb 3:1) ;  it is a holy calling ( see 2 Ti 1:9);  it is to the faithful in Christ Jesus ( see Eph 1:1) ;  it is to those who are saved ( see 2 Ti 1:9) ;   it is to those that are sanctified in Christ Jesus ( see 1 Cor 1:2) ;  it is to the circumcision ( see Phl 3:3) ;   and it is to the holy brethren ( see Heb 3:1, Rom 12:1, 1 Cor 1:26)

Our calling is not according to our works (see 2 Ti 1:9) ; it is according to His workmanship ( see Eph 2:10) ;  it is according to His own purpose ( see 2 Ti 1:9, Eph 1:11 );  it is according to His own grace ( see 2 Ti 1:9 ) ;  it is by the mercies of God ( see Rom 12:1);   it has been ordained by God before the world began ( see Eph 2:10);  it was given to us in Christ Jesus before the world began ( see 2 Ti 1:9, Eph 2:10) ;  and it is without repentance by God ( see Rom 11:29).

Our calling is to be saints ( see 1 Cor 1:2);  it is to know Jesus Christ ( see Phl 3:10) ; it is to rejoice in Jesus Christ ( see Phl 3:3)  ;  it is to be in fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord ( see 1 Co 1:9) ;  it is to be in fellowship with His sufferings ( see Phl 3:10);  it is to partake in the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God ( see 2 Ti 1:8);  it is to be partakers of the heavenly calling (see Heb 3:1);  it is be partakers of the divine nature through the great and precious promises that we have been given ( see 2 Peter1:4);  and it is to be partakers of Christ (see Heb 3:14) .

Our calling is to not be conformed to this world ( see Rom 12:2) ;  it is to put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts ( see Eph 4:22) ;  it is to escape the corruption that is in the world through lust ( see 2 Peter 1:4) ; it is unto the resurrection of the dead ( see Phl 3:11) ;  it is to know the power of his resurrection ( see Phl 3:10) ;  and it is to put on the new man , which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness ( see Eph 4:24).

Our calling is to be transformed by the renewing of our minds ( see Rom 12:2) ;  it is to be renewed in the spirit of our minds ( see Eph 4:23) ;  it is to worship God in the Spirit ( see Phl 3:3) ;  it is to serve Christ in the truth of the Spirit  (see Eph 5:9);   it is to serve Christ in the righteousness , peace and joy of the Holy Ghost (see Rom 14:17,18; Eph 5:9) ;  it is to serve Christ in the kingdom of God ( see Rom 14:17,18);  and it is to prove the good , acceptable and perfect will of God ( see Rom 12:2, Eph 5:10).

Our calling is to confound the things which are mighty ( see 1 Co 1:27) ;  it is to bring to naught the things that are ( see 1 Cor 1:28) ;  it is to be the praise of His glory ( see Eph 1:12);  it is to glory and virtue , as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of Him ( see 2 Peter 1:3) ;  and it is that no flesh should glory in His presence ( see 1 Cor 1:29).

Our calling is to give all diligence to add virtue to our faith ( see 2 Peter 1:5 ) ;  it is to add virtue to our knowledge ( see 2 Peter 1:5) ;   it is to add temperance to our knowledge ( see 2 Peter 1:6) ;  it is to add patience to our temperance ( see 2 Peter 1:6, Rom 15:5) ;  it is to add godliness to our patience ( see 2 Peter 1:6) ;  it is to add brotherly kindness to our godliness ( see 2 Peter 1:7) ;  it is to add charity to our brotherly kindness ( see 2 Peter 1:7);  and it is to fulfill the law by loving our neighbor as ourselves ( see Rom 13:9, 10).

Our calling is to take heed how we build on the foundation laid by Jesus Christ ( see 1 Cor 3:10) ;  it is to be laborers together with God as God’s husbandry,  God’s building ( see 1 Cor 3:9 ) ;  it is to give diligence to make sure of our calling ( see 2 Peter 1:10) ;   and it is to not think of ourselves more highly than we ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each one of us the measure of faith ( see Rom. 12:3) .

Our calling is for the perfecting of the saints ( see Eph 4:12);  it is for the work of the ministry ( see Eph 4:12);  it is for the edifying of the body of Christ ( see Eph 4:12) ;  and it is that by speaking the truth in love, we may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, Christ  ( see Eph 4:15) .

Our calling is that we all come unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (see Eph 4:13);  it is that the whole body be fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, making increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love ( see Eph 4:16 ) ;  it is that we may be of one faith ( see Eph 4:5) ;  it is that we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God (see Eph 4:13) ;   it is that we may be of one Lord ( see Eph 4:5) ; it is that we may be of one Spirit ( see Eph 4:4) ;  it is that we may be of one baptism ( see Eph 4:5) ;  it is that we may be of one body ( see Eph 4:4) ;  it is that we may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ ( see Rom 15:6) ;  it is that we may be of one God and Father of all , who is above all , and through all, and in us all ( see Eph 4:6);  and it is that He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; in Him ( see Eph 1:10 ) .
