WHAT IS THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL ?

The Following Study Article Is Composed From Preliminary Study Notes As I Progressively Step Through A Biblical Word Study On “The Cornerstone”. All References Are To The KJV.

The remnant of Israel are those that the Lord drove out and afflicted ( see Micah 4:6);  they are those that the Lord God scattered into all the winds ( see Ezek 5:10);  and they are those that had been neglected , destroyed , driven away and scattered because of pastors that were supposed to feed and visit them (see Jer 23;1,2).

The remnant of Israel are those who are the saved , gathered and turned back from captivity of those who halted and were driven out ( see Zeph 3:19 ); they are those that are the assembled and gathered by the Lord of her that halteth, was driven out , cast off and afflicted ( see Micah 4:6,7), and they are a strong nation with the Lord reigning over them in Mount Zion forever from the time after the judge and ruler of Israel was brought forth from she that halted and was cast off  (see Mic 4:7, Mic 5:1,2,3 ) .

They are those that were given up by God, a remnant of the brethren of the ruler and judge of Israel that did not return until the time that she which travailed brought forth ( see Micah 5:3, Mic 4:6),  and they are those that have been delivered and redeemed out of Babylon, the field and the hands of their enemies , and brought forth in pain and labor like a woman in travail (see Micah 4:10). They are a great company of the blind and the lame , the woman with child together with her that travaileth with child , that the Lord has brought to Zion from the north country and from the coasts of the earth (see Jer 31:8); they are the remnant of the seed of the woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars (see Rev 12:1) , and they are the remnant of the seed of the woman who brought forth a man child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron (see Rev 12:1, 5,17). 

They are the Lord’s suppliants, the daughter of His dispersed , that shall bring His offering from beyond the rivers of Ethiopia (see Zeph 3:10);  they are the people of the Lord of hosts, saved from the east country and the west country (see Zech 8:7); and they are the seed of the house of Israel which the Lord brought out of the north country and of all the countries where he had driven them , in order to dwell in their own land (see Jer 23:8) .

The remnant of Israel are those who get praise ,fame, and a name in every land and among every people where they have been put to shame (see Zeph  3:19-20) ; they are those that shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the Lord, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men (see Mic 5:7) , and they are those that shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver ( see Mic 5:8). They are those that shall be a blessing among the heathen people of whom they had been a curse ( see Zech 8:13) , and they are those who remember the LORD among the nations wherein they have been carried captive (see Ezek 6:9) . They are those of whom men of all languages of the nations hear that God is with them (see Zech 8:23) ; they are those who lead men out of all languages of the nations (see Zech 8:23) , and they are those of whom ten men of all the various nations shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you ( see Zech 8:23 ).  They are those to whom the inhabitants of many cities and strong nations shall come to pray before and seek the Lord of hosts ( see Zech 8:20-22 ).

The remnant of Israel is the flock of the Lord God (see Jer 23:2,3 ,Jer 31:10); it is the flock of the Lord God of Israel, gathered out of all the countries where He had driven them and brought again to their folds to be fruitful and increase (see Jer. 23:3), and it is the tower of the flock ( see Micah 4:8) .  They are those that have shepherds set up over them by the Lord which shall feed them ( see Jer 23:4) , and they are the assembled and gathered of Jacob put together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold ( see Mic 2:12) .

They are those who shall not fear nor be dismayed , nor be lacking anymore (see Jer 23:4); and they are those that shall make a great noise by reason of the multitude of men. (see Mic 2:12).

The remnant of Israel are those who shall dwell in a place called the city of truth;  the holy mountain of the LORD of hosts , Zion , Jerusalem ( see Zech 8:3) ; they are those that shall love the truth and peace ( see Zech 8:19); they are those that speak truth to their neighbors and execute truth and peace in their gates (see Zech 8:16) , and  they are those who do not imagine evil in their hearts against their neighbors and who don’t love false oaths ( see Zech 8:17) . They are those that dwell in the midst of Jerusalem ( see Zech 8:8 ) ; and they are those that are Jerusalem ( see Ezek 5:5, Zech 8:15, Zeph 3:16 ) . They are those that shall dwell in the streets of Jerusalem , where old men and women with staffs in their hands shall dwell and where the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof ( see Zech 8: 4,5) ; and they are those who will give comfort to those of the old Jerusalem when they see their ways and their doings: thereby knowing that the Lord God has not done without cause all that He has done in it (see Ezek 14:23) .

They are those whose seed shall be prosperous; whose vine shall give her fruit,  whose ground shall give her increase, and whose heavens shall drop their dew ( see Zech 8:12 ); and they are those to whom the fast of the fourth, fifth , seventh and tenth  month shall be joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts ( see Zech 8 :19).

The remnant of Israel are the seed of the House of Israel ( see Jer 23:8) ; they are the children of Israel ( see Micah 5:3) ; they are all the families of Israel ( see Jer 31:1);  they are the sheep of the pasture of the Lord God of Israel ( see Jer 23:1) ; they are the virgin of Israel ( see Jer 31:4); and they are Israel (see Zeph 3:14, Jer 23:6, Jer 31:2,10, Romans 9:6). 

They are the seed of Isaac ( see  Rom 9:7) and they are the children of Isaac (see Rom 9:7).  They are the remnant of Jacob ( see Micah 5:7,8) ;  they are the house of Jacob ( see Micah 2:7) , and they are Jacob ( see Jer 31:7, Jer 31:11,  Micah 2:12) . They are the house of Judah ( see Zech 8:15) ; and they are Judah ( see Jer 23:6) .

They are the daughter of troops ( see Mic 5:1);  they are the daughter of God’s dispersed ( see Zeph 3:10); they are the daughter of Jerusalem (see Mic 4:8, Zeph 3:14,) they are the daughter of Zion ( see Micah 4:10, Zeph 3:14 ) ; they are the strong hold of the daughter of Zion ( see Micah 4:8) and they are Zion ( see Zeph 3:16, Zech 8:2,3).

They are Ephraim, God’s firstborn (see Jer 31:9); they are the children of the living God ( see Romans 9:26,27) ; and they are the children of the promise, not of the flesh ( see Romans 9:8) . They are the people of the Lord God ( see Jer 23:2, Jer 31:7 ) ;  they are the people of God, in truth and in righteousness (see Zech 8:11 ) : and they are the Jews ( see Zech 8:23).

They are an afflicted and poor people that trust in the name of the Lord ( see Zeph 3:12); they are the saved of the children of Israel ( see Romans 9:27) ; they are the residue of this people ( see Zech 8:11) .

They are the redeemed from among men (see  Rev 14:4) ; they are the redeemed of the Lord ( see Jer 31:11) ; they are the hundred forty and four thousand redeemed from the earth, having the Father’s name written in their foreheads( see Rev 14:1, 3) ; and they are those who have been ransomed from the hand of him that was stronger than he       (see Jer 31:11) .

They are the election of God in accord with His grace  ( see Romans 11:5, 7 ) ; and they are a people left of the sword that found grace in the wilderness (see Jer 31:2). They are caused to rest by the Lord ( see Jer 31:2) ; and they are loved , drawn and built by the everlasting love and loving kindness of the Lord ( see Jer 31:3,4).

They are without fault before the throne of God (see Rev 14:5). They are virgins not defiled with women ( see Rev 14:4) ; and they have no guile in their mouth (Rev 14:5).

They are the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb ( see Rev 14:4);  they stand with the Lamb on Mt Zion, with the Father of the Lamb’s name written on their foreheads ( see Rev 14:1 ) ;  and they follow the  Lamb whithersoever he goeth ( see Rev 14:4).

They are those at war with the dragon (see Rev  12:17 ) ; and they are those that overcome the dragon , the Devil, Satan by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and by loving not their lives unto death ( See Rev 12:11) .

They are those that shall stand and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God ( see Micah 5:3,4) , and they are those that shall abide and be great unto the ends of the earth (  see Micah 5:4) .

They are those which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony and the faith of Jesus Christ (see Rev 12:17, Rev 14:12 ). They are those to whom is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God , and the power of his Christ (see Rev 12:10). They are the saints ( see Rev 14:12).
