The Following Study Article Is Composed From Preliminary Study Notes As I Progressively Step Through A Biblical Word Study On “The Cornerstone”. All References Are To The KJV.

The Church is the body of Jesus Christ ( see Eph. 5:23, 29; Col. 1:18, 24) ;  it is holy and without blemish, spot ,wrinkle or any such thing ( see Eph. 5:27 ); and it is nourished and cherished by Jesus Christ our Lord ( see Eph. 5:29) .

The Church is those who are elected ( see 1 Pet. 5:13) ; it is those who are called to be saints ( see 1 Cor. 1:2) ;  it is those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus ( see 1 Cor. 1:2) ; and it is those anywhere who call upon the name of Jesus Christ as Lord ( see 1 Cor. 1:2).

The Church is the general assembly of the firstborn from the dead (see Heb 12:23, Col. 1:18) ; and it is those who are written in heaven ( see Heb 12:23).

The Church is the house of the living God (see 1 Tim. 3:5, 15); it is in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ ( see 1 Th. 1:1, 2 Th. 1:1); and it is the pillar and ground of the truth ( see 1 Tim. 3:15) .
