The tabernacle of the Lord is His dwelling place in Zion ( see Ps 76:2 ); and it is His dwelling place in Salem ( see Ps 76:2 ) .
The tabernacle of the Lord is His holy hill (see Ps 15:1 ) ; it is His eternal house , temple, throne and footstool , or place of rest ( see Acts 7:46-49) ; and it is His pavilion ( see Ps 27:5 ).
The tabernacle of the Lord is His secret hiding place set upon a rock ( see Ps 27:5 ) ; and it is it is the covert of His wings ( see Ps 61:4).
The tabernacle of the Lord is the true sanctuary ( see Heb 8:2 ) ; it is the holiest of all places ( see Heb 9:3 ) ; it is made by the Lord, not with human hands (tabernacles made by human hands are only figures of the true tabernacle ) ( see Acts 7:48, 2 Cor. 5:1, Heb 8:2, Heb 9:11, 24 ) ; and it is a pure , undefiled and clean place that is free and separate from death ( see Numb 19:13).
The tabernacle of the Lord is the eternal, heavenly place of the presence of God ( see 2 Cor. 5:1) ; it has been entered into once by Christ through His own blood , having obtained eternal redemption for those who come to God through Him ( see Heb 7:25, 9:11, 12 ) ; and it is where Christ now appears for those who come to God through Him ( see Heb 7:25, Heb 9:24).
The tabernacle of the Lord is with men and women who come to God through Christ ( see Heb 7:25, Rev 21:3 ); and it is the holy city of the new earth coming down out of heaven from God, the new Jerusalem, where God Himself will dwell with His people as their God ( see Ezek 37:27 , Rev 21:3 ).
The tabernacle of the Lord is a place where righteousness is practiced and the truth is spoken ( see Ps 15:2) ; it is a place of neighborliness, without backbiting speech, evil or reproach against one’s neighbor ( see Ps 15:3) ; it is a place where a vile person is condemned, but a place where God fearing people are honored ( see Ps 15:4) ; it is a place where a person keeps his promises even to his own hurt ( see Ps 15:4) ; and it is a place where money is not lent on usurious terms and where no bribes are taken against innocent people ( see Ps 15:5) .
